Tucked away on the first floor of Brach Paris, the Brach x Kalios terrace is bringing a taste of the Cyclades to the French capital and will remain open daily for lunch and dinner from 1 to 23 August 2026.
Paris in August has a rhythm of its own. The streets grow quieter, lunches last a little longer and hidden terraces suddenly feel like destinations in their own right. This summer, one of them is offering an unexpected escape to Greece without leaving the 16th arrondissement.
Opened in spring, the 1st Floor Terrace - Brach x Kalios brings together Brach Paris’s understated sophistication and the Mediterranean spirit of Kalios. Following a successful first season, the terrace will exceptionally open seven days a week, for both lunch and dinner, from 1 to 23 August.
The setting is discreet and deliberately transportive. Flowing fabrics move gently in the breeze, while pale wood, natural linen and touches of Aegean blue evoke the relaxed elegance of the Cyclades. Though Paris remains just beyond the terrace, the atmosphere feels pleasantly removed from the city.
Chef Adam Bentalha’s menu follows the same Mediterranean thread. Designed for sharing, it revisits Greek flavours through a contemporary Parisian lens. Kalios’ signature mezzes sit alongside paprika-marinated octopus with Feneos fava cream, sea bass crudo and heritage tomatoes with feta.
New additions for August include barbecue-grilled souvlakis prepared with beef, chicken or octopus. Desserts continue the journey with combinations of Greek yoghurt, pistachio and olive oil, simple ingredients handled with precision.
The cocktail menu offers another interpretation of the Greek summer, drawing on mastiha, thyme, orange blossom, lemon and honey. They are perhaps best enjoyed towards sunset, when the light softens and the Parisian rooftops provide an elegant backdrop.
At a time when many of the capital’s restaurants and terraces close for the summer break, Brach x Kalios is choosing to extend the season. Whether for a leisurely lunch, dinner with friends or an early-evening drink, it offers Parisians and visitors something increasingly precious: the feeling of having travelled elsewhere, if only for a few hours.
