Showcasing the best cuisine from the subcontinent, Kinara by Vikas Khanna at JA Lake View Hotel has just launched its new quarterly dining series, Forgotten Flavours. Reimagining key dishes and flavours from Indian tradition, the series will debut on Friday, October 3rd, with Utsav – Festivals of India, a multi-course dining journey. Complete with fine selections by Sula Wineslive storytelling, and an exclusive opportunity to meet Michelin-acclaimed Chef Vikas Khanna in person, this is an unmissable opportunity to celebrate India's culinary heritage

Located at JA Lake View Hotel, Kinara by Vikas Khanna is celebrated as one of Dubai's premier Indian fine-dining destinations. With its striking interiors, aromatic spice displays, and immersive ambience, Kinara transports guests through the rich diversity of Indian cuisine. Guided by the artistry of Chef Vikas Khanna, the restaurant blends traditional recipes with modern presentation, delivering both authenticity and innovation in every dish.

Forgotten Flavours is the destination's new quarterly series designed to explore and revive culinary traditions from across India, each edition with its own unique theme. Future editions will include The Royal Kitchens of India, Peninsular Cuisine of India, Nomadic Food Tradition of India, and Forgotten Grains of India. Each experience features collaborative pairings, curated menus, and captivating presentations, allowing guests to discover a new chapter of India's gastronomic heritage.

The series will begin with Utsav – Festivals of India, marking not only the launch of Forgotten Flavours but also Kinara's 6th anniversary. Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner inspired by India's most evocative celebrations, with each dish reflecting heritage recipes reimagined for the modern table. To complement the menu, Sula Wines will curate a pairing selection, introduced by their expert sommelier on the evening.

During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to meet Chef Vikas Khanna himself, and they will receive a bespoke keepsake gift and a specially designed menu that features stories, recipes, and festival traditions, ensuring the evening is both a feast and a lasting memory.

The event also highlights Kinara's partnership with Sula Wines, India's leading and most awarded grape brand. Founded in the late 1990s by Rajeev Samant, Sula introduced varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel to India, establishing itself as a pioneer in the region. The brand is also a champion of sustainability, using solar power in vineyards, working closely with local grape growers, and offering recyclable packaging. Today, Sula's portfolio includes White, Red, Rosé, and Sparkling grapes, with its The Source range representing the pinnacle of its craftsmanship.

As Kinara enters its sixth year, Forgotten Flavours is set to become a one of the season's most anticipated dining moments combining artistry, authenticity and the distinctive vision of Chef Vikas Khanna. With only 60 seats available, this is an event not to be missed.
