Step into a surreal, five-sensory experience that reimagines 19th-century masterpieces by Monet, van Gogh, and more

Arte Museum Dubai, an immersive media art exhibition space located at Dubai Mall, has collaborated with the famed Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

This partnership bridges classic masterpieces and cutting-edge digital media, inviting visitors to experience the emotional and cultural depth of 19th-century French art in a surreal space that engages all five senses.

Available from April 17, 2025, the ARTE MUSEUM X MUSÉE D’ORSAY experience goes far beyond simply projecting the iconic paintings onto large screens, this limited time installation breathes new life into the Musée d’Orsay’s masterpieces.

Through visual storytelling, accompanied by scents and orchestral music, visitors are engaged in a multi-sensory journey that evokes new emotional connections with the works – transcending language and cultural barriers through the universal language of art and technology.

With over 100 artworks reimagined, from Monet’s Water Lilies to Van Gogh’s Starry Night, every detail is brought to life in breathtaking scale across walls and floorsBeginning with its origins as a train station and its transformation into the iconic Musée d’Orsay, the installation tells a compelling story of architectural preservation—followed by a vivid reimagining of the museum’s diverse art collections, showcasing works from various movements and artists through innovative perspectives.

Using cutting-edge visual techniques and AI-powered artistry, the exhibition highlights the essence of each painter’s style while respecting the historical and emotional core of the original works. Each artwork includes thoughtful curatorial description, ensuring guests connect with the story, technique, and spirit behind every brushstroke.

First launched in South Korea at Arte Museum locations in Busan, Gangneung, and Yeosu—and now available in Dubai—this partnership marks a key step in Arte Museum’s global expansion, with additional international locations in the pipeline for 2027.

The experience is shaped by the scholarly guidance of Musée d’Orsay curator, ensuring that each digital interpretation maintains scientific and historical integrity, beyond the beauty, entertainment, and immersive nature of the program.
