Dive into a culinary adventure at JBR’s newest dining destination, Aqua Restaurant and Bar. Set in JA Ocean View Hotel, the new and innovative restaurant offers an extraordinary fusion of flavour, culture, and community, all bound together to serve guests fresh and unique taste experiences.
True to its name, Aqua will take guests on an ocean-inspired, cross-continental culinary journey, transporting them to new horizons with dedicated themes, every day of the week. Influenced by the way that water breaks borders and flows to connect the world, Aqua is a welcoming destination that aims to connect loved ones over a shared love of good, fresh, authentic food, complete with outstanding hospitality and a lively, interactive team.
A vibrant variety of delicious daily offerings including three live stations, the cuisine calendar, and buffet themes, will leave guests hungry for more. The week kicks off with an International Favourites evening, where guests can take their pick from flavourful chicken tandoori cooked in the kitchen’s tandoor oven, the oozy chorizo mac and cheese, or the Texas sticky BBQ beef ribs. A journey through seven shores on Tuesdays encompasses a Mediterranean Mosaic consisting of traditional paella, fresh pasta, and to-die-for tiramisu. Wednesday is a Silk Road Fusion: From Moscow to Tokyo tour, which will feature a live sushi and sashimi bar, authentic Peking Duck, and tasty Singaporean Chili Crab. Thursday is for Feasts of the Desert: Arabia’s Finest, serving up authentic chicken musakhan, Moroccan chermoula fish tagine, Saudi Arabian kabsa rice, and a huge variety of traditional deserts. Sundays are saved for a Great Royal Roast, with beef wellington, Australian leg of lamb, classic British pies, all the trimmings and more on offer.
The showstoppers are the Aqua brunches, designed to be a spectacular display of the most creative cocktails in JBR, delectable specialties and soulful entertainment. Friday evenings will be reserved for the International Seafood Showcase, where guests can soak up three hours of free-flowing drinks and enjoy the freshest catch – including Dibba Bay oysters, salt crusted salmon and a stunning seafood casserole with Italian blue mussels and cray fish.
On Saturdays, Aqua will turn up the heat with its Sabor Latino Brunch, serving authentic Latin-American cuisine such as Peruvian anticuchos de polloand arroz chaufa, perfect for slathering with Aji Amarillo. With live entertainment and a mixologist on-site to shake up lip-smacking drinks, Aqua’s Saturday brunch is set to be a lively, yet welcoming, affair. On one Sunday every month, the venue will also host a Family Table Brunch, complete with a kids’ corner and the best of Aqua’s cuisine for a fun, end-of-the-week, get together.
